Start with the decision

Define what the model needs to help you decide. The required detail, operating cases, and confidence level should follow that purpose.

Make the comparison explicit

Select relevant channels, metrics, and operating conditions. Where practical, distinguish calibration data from data used to evaluate the model.

Document the useful envelope

Record remaining mismatch, assumptions, and the conditions covered by the evidence. A strong handover explains both where the model is useful and where more work is needed.
